10-07-1996 Being attached to the ear of this random person.

07-07-2007 Man this kid is annoying!  He's screaming while I go into his body as the needle for the flu shot.

Overview:

3-5 sentences about the elements. (physical and chemical properties)

I melt at 1670 degrees Celsius, and my boiling point is 3287 degrees Celsius.  Also, when combined with oxygen, I form titanium dioxide which is used in paint.  Not to mention the fact that I am very corrosion resistant, strong, and lightweight.

Information:

Relationship Status: Like to be with chlorine and nitrogen.  With chlorine I form a substance used in the manufacturing of paint.  With nitrogen I form a hard coating for cutting tools.

Parent: William Gregor

network: metal

valence electrons: 2 valence electrons

reactivity: little reactivity, but oxidizes
state of matter: solid at room temperature
Location on Periodic Table: group 4B, period 4

Birthday: 1791

Hometown: Cornwall, England

Group: Transition metals

Activities & Interests:2-3 sentences about the elements. (physical and chemical properties)

I am used to make blades harder and sharper. I also go into necklaces that improve circulation and relax the wearer.  Because I am lighter and stronger than steel, I am used in airplanes when alloyed with aluminium, molybdenum, and iron.

Places:

"check in" with at least three places the element can be found

7-28-2005 You can usually find me in igneous rocks.

3-14-2001 I occur in minerals such as rutile, ilmenite, and sphene, and I'm present in many iron ores.

11-11-2011 I also like to hang out in meteorites, the sun, and the moon.

This is the military's first titanium machine gun.  Don't I look special.

In this phiten necklace, there is me.  I help to improve circulation and also to relax whatever genius decided to wear me.

This is me when I was first mined as rutile ore (titanium dioxide{oxygen}). Oh, how it brings back memories...

I met up with my friend oxygen to make titanium dioxide in this paint.

This is the picture of the person with the most piercings.  So, in other words, he has a very large amount of me!

Gold and silver take all the credit for making rings, but if you really want one to last forever, you should use me in it.

What are your medical uses?

Because I am lightweight, very durable, and non-toxic to the body, I am commonly used in replacement bones or joints. Also, I am used in surgical tools for the same reasons.
