I made crystals today with my friend Nitrogen.

Today was a Boron day.

I like to clean clothes, wash eyes, and kill ants. Like a boss!

Overview:3-5 sentences about the elements. (physical and chemical properties)

3-5 sentences about the elements. (physical and chemical properties)

Boron is rarely seen it ints pure form.

It is usually very hard but is very brittle in it's pure form.

I'm a nonmetallic element.

I burn in a distinctive green color.

I'm used in fireworks.

Activities & Interests:

Boron's physical properties are that it can be in several diff. forms: red crystals, black crystals, and brown powder. Boron also has very high melting points and absorb neutrons. Boron chemically combines with oxygen, dissolves in molten metals, and usually don't react with acids. Acids that do react are hot nitric acid and sulfuric acid, and dissolves in molten metals.

Places:

I can be found in Turkey, United States, China, and Argentina

Boron was introduced before modern chemistry was even born. Persian alchemist Rhazes classified minerals into six different categories. One of the was called the boraces; that is the name origin of boron.

You are considered a metalloid. Name a property of yours that's a metal. Name a property of yours that's a non-metal.
